The New Space
Experience Patrick Hughes’ artwork in a unique, custom-made setting and see the pieces perfectly hung and lit for optimum effect. Our viewing area is open with all Covid requirements in place providing the perfect opportunity to discuss Patrick’s work.
Leading the venture is Karen Demuth. Karen was a director of Flowers Galleries, working closely with artists, collectors and museum curators for many years. She led the international programme which saw Patrick’s work exhibited at the major art fairs including Basel, Cologne, F.I.A.C. in Paris, Arco in Madrid, and Chicago and New York. Karen will hold discussions with museums and public institutions and galleries who are interested in Patrick’s work.
The New Space is connected to, but separate from, Patrick’s vibrant studio at 72 Great Eastern Street, London EC2A 3JL.

AUCTION: The Tusk Lion Trail 2021

Patrick was selected to take part in the Tusk Lion Trail 2021. Above, you can see the wonderful result, Manebow, with bronzed body with a mane of rainbows. He has previously used rainbows en masse in the sky to delight us, here Patrick imagines the King of Beasts to have the most colourful of colours.
As the public display of lions has come to an end, the global pride of lions have been sold via a charity auction hosted by auctioneers, Bonhams, in London on Tuesday 9th November, 2021
