Henley Fesival - Patrick Hughes in the Festival Gallery
Patrick's work will feature at this years Henley Festival. Other participating artists include: Salvador Dali, Glen Baxter, Dennis Nona, Alick Tipoti and Patrick Haines.

Hotel Intercontinental - Patrick Hughes [Prints and Multiples]
The Hotel Intercontinental on Park Lane, London W1 are exhibiting Patrick Hughes prints and multiples. The show will run from 30 July - 30 October 2009.

Visual Deception
Patrick's work will be featured in Visual Deception, a touring exhibition of Japan.

Bel Air Fine Art - Patrick Hughes solo exhibition
Bel Air Fine Art in Geneva are holding an exhibition of Patrick's recent works in Autumn 2009. The show will then go on tour to St. Tropez. The dates are yet to be confirmed. For more details please vist www.belairfineart.com

Vancouver Biennale 2009-2011
Patrick's submission for the Vancouver Biennale has been accepted. The sculpture consists of 24 panels of 7' x 3' (2121 x 909 mm) which will be placed in an outdoor location. Galerie Boisserée - Solo Exhibition
Galerie Boisserée have announced a forthcoming exhibition of Patrick's work. The show will be held in April 2010. More information to follow.

New Collages
Following the success of the first collage series, Patrick has introduced another set of Venice collages. Blue Moon and sunset can be viewed in the Gallery section of this website.

Rietveld Reviewed
Patrick re-made this Red Blue Chair, designed by Gerrit Rietveld in 1918, in axonometric projection.  Rietveld Reviewed is not made in perspective, because it does not diminsh towards a vanishing point, but it looks like perspective - and it is easier to do. Since his works are usually made in forced perspective, and in reverse, he is interested to see what spectators make of this object: which when you look at it, looks as if it has already been looked at.

Patrick's book Left to Write has been published.
Left to Write is an anthology of Patrick's writings, catalogue introductions and journalism
et cetera. The book contains about 400 pages (90,000 words) and is illustrated throughout,
with an introduction by Glen Baxter.

The major exhibition SUPERDUPERSPECTIVE of Patrick Hughes works at Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery (October 2006 - February 2007) attracted 46,817 visitors!
